Can I Add Myfitnesspal to My Gear Pro

   After using a Fitbit for 3 yrs I made the switch to the new Galaxy S3 Gear. There are a lot of features I like .. merely the lack of direct integration between the S3 Gear and Myfitnesspal has me questioning my switch.

   Some have had a little luck connecting through other apps, though it tends to be "off and on" connectivity. You lot would think 2 big companies like this could piece of work out a "working integration".

   Anyone heard of any progress in a working connection?

   My Gear iii syncs only fine with information technology. Gear gives MyFitnessPal the steps and MyFitnessPalpal gives the Gear the calories.

   The Gear S2 & S3 support MyFitnessPal and take an app for the lookout man in the Galaxy Apps Shop.

   I cannot get my S3 to sync steps with MyFitnessPal. is there some other app I need? I add together nutrient but manually have to add exercise. my Fitbit stopped syncing steps too. I yet use the Ane

   connect the two through samsung wellness and vice versa

   Have you opened Samsung Health on your phone and waited for the data from your Gear S3 to sync to your phone? Then open up the MFP app on your telephone and give it a few seconds to sync. In SH, accept you set the app to track your steps via the S3?

    Yeah I have done all of that. Food and water sync just steps. I have my Fit Chip One connected and that doesn't sync either. I volition keep playing with information technology.

    My Gear Fit two with South - Health is not syncing steps to My Fitness Pal as well. Saw where some other people were complaining about information technology too.

    The fault I become when I become to steps is "We were unable to connect to the server to synchronize. I enter them manually from Samsung Health at the terminate of the twenty-four hour period.0

    I don't know what the work effectually is. Every sees each other in both apps.

    I use UA Tape for steps and workout as I similar the workout tracking, only I've had issues with the step sync, for some reason they never lucifer the Samsung Health steps, and oft I accept to disconnect and reconnect to have anything sync at all, does My Fitness Pal piece of work better? Anyone had like issues?

    MyFitnessPal Troubleshooting has a folio with bug lists and https://myfitnesspal.desk.com/custom...ation-partners it does indicate a trouble with syncing steps from S-Wellness. Frustratingly, on my new S3 Classic, it WORKED and I got a calorie adjustment Friday - but non Saturday! Not sure I changed anything - I've tried to expunge the old FitBit app from before my new lookout man from my new phone, my laptop etc. - turned on all the sync/permissions stuff. Merely I'd just live with the bug if it didn't piece of work one mean solar day, not the next! Other than that, I love the watch - I become and so much work email on it, I have to accuse information technology every night but who cares - it'south easy and I practice the same with my phone;-)
